Friends Honor Slain Dentist With Yoga Fundraiser

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Friends of the Dallas dentist killed in the parking garage of a downtown Dallas high rise last year held a fundraiser in a place that was near and dear to her.

Lakewood Bikram Yoga studio held a silent class to honor Hatcher, who practiced yoga there for years.

Participants made donations with proceeds "going to the families of Kendra's patients so they may continue to receive dental care."

"Our intention for the class today is love and divine friendship," says Karen Bucker of Lakewood Bikram Yoga.  "And we know that our love and our friendship with Kendra will live on forever."

Police say Brenda Delgado hired a hit man to kill Hatcher.

Delgado is currently being held in Mexico while awaiting extradition back to North Texas.
