FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - North Texas chefs and culinary experts will be participating in demonstrations and meet-and-greet events beginning Thursday night, when the second annual Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival kicks off at Billy Bob's Texas.

Last year's event -- the first ever -- was such a huge success that organizers have brought the festival back for a second go-round. And, in traditional Texas style, this year promises to be bigger and better.

While the festival celebrates Fort Worth's great chefs and food, everyone from the Metroplex is welcome to participate in the fun. "Food is about getting together, hanging out and enjoying each other's company," said Chef Marcus Paslay from Clay Pigeon. "We don't care where you're from, just come out and have fun."

A variety of events are scheduled for every day from Thursday through Sunday. The full lineup includes something for everyone, from laid-back gatherings like food trucks lined up at Coyote Drive-In, to more high-class affairs like Friday's grand tasting at the Worthington Renaissance.

There are also some new events this year, like a late night of desserts and drinks on Friday.

Check out the festival's official website for more information and ticket prices.
