FORT WORTH (CBS11) - Vandals have repeatedly struck a southeast Fort Worth business.
Former Dallas Cowboy David Howard says he's arrived at work nearly a dozen times to find broken windows or spray-painted walls.
"Every glass, every brick, I feel personally," he said.
His organization, Empower Me, helps disabled adults develop job skills and occupies five buildings in the southeast Fort Worth neighborhood near Texas Wesleyan University.
It sits in the midst of the Rosedale Renaissance Project, an area with $38 million worth of ongoing public improvement programs.
"I thought our neighborhood was coming around, which it is, but it tells me we have a lot more to do," said Howard.
Howard says he's not sure who's responsible for the damage or why they're targeting him.
Still, he says he doesn't plan on budging, no matter how much frustration he faces.
"When you come by and you see broken glass or broken windows that have been vandalized, a lot of people on the outside looking in, they don't want to come around," he said.
