Fort Worth Bridge To Reopen After June Crash

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - The Cherry Lane bridge over eastbound I-30 will reopen this week, weather permitting, according to TxDOT.
The closure and emergency repair of the bridge was necessary due to damage sustained in a wreck on June 15.
An 18-wheeler hit the bridge on I-30 eastbound at Cherry Lane in Fort Worth.
There were no reports of serious injuries, but the damage from the crash made the bridge unsafe for traffic.
