Fort Worth Arsonist Receives 40-Year Sentence After Plea Bargain

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A man who was charged with setting fire to two Fort Worth homes earlier this year accepted a plea deal with the Tarrant County District Attorney's office.

According to the Fort Worth Fire Department investigators, 42-year-old George Wayne Reibert will receive a 40-year prison term.

Investigators said Reibert is suspected in eight to 12 additional house fires in the area.

Reibert was previously convicted for arson in Louisiana and Oklahoma.
