Former Hurst Man Added To Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender List

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Texas officials have added a former Hurst resident to the Texas Most Wanted sex offender list.
The Texas Department of Public Safety has added 31-year-old Zachary Aaron Jenkins to the 10 Most Wanted list for failing to register as a sex offender, probation violation, forgery and fraud.
According to officials, Jenkins has ties to the North Texas area, including Hurst and Euless. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds. He has tattoos of a skull, wings and arrow on his right forearm and a dove with artwork on his left arm.
Jenkins was convicted of indecency with a child-sexual contact involving a 9-year-old girl in Tarrant County in 2015 and was sentenced to 10 years of probation.
A $3,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the capture and/or arrest of Jenkins.
Officials ask that if you have any information the location of Jenkins to contact the DPS using the following methods:
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Text the letters "DPS" – followed by your tip – to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
- Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
