TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW) - A former Fort Worth funeral home owner finds himself in even more legal trouble.

When Dondre Johnson showed up Monday morning at the Tarrant County Criminal Justice Center for a pre-trial hearing, court security guards arrested him for a child support warrant out of Dallas County.

At the judge's orders, Johnson will spend the night in jail.

Tuesday he goes on trial for one of his felony theft charges.

Johnson also faces seven misdemeanor charges of abuse of a corpse.

Those charges stem from accusations that Johnson took people's money, promised to give their loved ones a proper funeral, but instead left the bodies to rot inside his east side Fort Worth mortuary.

In June his wife and former funeral home co-owner, Rachel Johnson, was sentence to 21 months in prison for felony food stamp fraud.
