Earthquake Rattles North Texas Saturday

IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - Late sleepers were shaken awake this Saturday morning in Irving and Northwest Dallas by a 2.6 earthquake.

The quake rattled the area around the University of Dallas at 10:30 a.m.

It's the third earthquake in the area in the last week.

Saturday's earthquake differed form recent quakes however in that it was nearly 8 miles underground.
