Duncanville Police Find Body In Heavily Wooded Area

DUNCANVILLE (1080 KRLD) - Duncanville police located an unconscious person in a creek behind a heavily wooded area Thursday morning.

Upon their arrival at the intersection of Santa Fe Trail and Danieldale, the Duncanville Fire Department determined the person was already deceased.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office also responded and is conducting an investigation to determine who the victim is and what caused their death.

Authorities say they are looking into whether the body is of 84-year-old Juan Perez, who's been missing since 11 a.m. Monday morning.

Police say the family has been notified of the ongoing investigation.
