Driver Killed After Falling Off I-20 Overpass In Benbrook

TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - There are reports of a fatal accident just southwest of Fort Worth.
Officers with the Fort Worth Police Department are investigating the incident that happened on the westbound side of Interstate-20 near Aledo Road, in Benbrook.
Officials with Fort Worth PD say officers were in the area working several accidents when they saw a vehicle lose control and spin out before coming to a rest near a guardrail on an overpass. After the crash, the driver apparently got out of the vehicle, lost his footing, and fell some 60 feet onto railroad racks below.
The driver of the vehicle has been confirmed dead. It isn't known if any other people were in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
