Driver Held After Vehicle Crashes Through Texas Capitol Fence

AUSTIN (AP) - Investigators say a driver has been arrested after his vehicle crashed through a fence outside the Texas Capitol.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says the wreck happened before dawn Wednesday on the south side of the complex in Austin.
The driver ran from the scene but was caught by officers. The accident left a section of iron fence on its side.
DPS did not immediately provide details on what charges the driver faces or a possible motive for Wednesday's incident.
