DMV Revokes Personalized License Plate, Says It's Offensive

HOUSTON (CBSDFW.COM) - A Texas man with a creative license plate is speaking out.

He's angry the DMV is revoking his plate, three years after it was issued.

The plate number is 370h55V. It doesn't look bad at first, but if you flip it over and use your imagination, it kind of looks like a curse word.

The DMV says it's offensive and that it has to go.

The driver, Safer Hassan, plans to appeal.

"I definitely think the state is overreaching their boundaries," he said.
