DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas ISD police used pepper spray to break up a fight at Billy Earl Dade Middle School Monday afternoon.

According to a school district spokesperson, the fight involved a group of students and started around 2 pm.

Several students were treated on campus from minor injuries from the fight and injuries from the pepper spray.

No one was taken into custody as a result of the fight, but it is still under investigation.

NOTE: CBS 11 initially reported that police used tear gas.  Police, in fact, used pepper spray.

This is a developing story.  CBS 11 has crews on the way and will post more details as we get them.
