DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Independent School District got its hands on the report by attorney Paul Coggins Thursday. The report looked into the incident last year when DISD police forcibly removed trustee Bernadette Nutall from a school at the request of Superintendent Mike Miles.
The report, which has not been released to the public, is deemed inconclusive according to sources. Nutall says she believes the goal of the investigation was to discredit her and she says that effort failed.
"I believe it's going to clear my name," says Nutall. "And when people read the Coggins report they will see it's something I just don't understand... And when I challenge that I get attacked and retaliated against."
District employees had filed complaints against Nutall saying she's confrontational and bullies staffers. Critics called them trumped up charges by Superintendent Miles. Nutall says she never threatened or harassed anyone and her only goal is to serve parents, teachers and students in DISD.
DISD leaders say they're reviewing the report. CBS 11 contacted Coggins as well and his office referred all comments to DISD.
