DFW Schools Share Plans For Makeup Days

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Winter weather forced many North Texas school districts to cancel or delay classes this week. Find out how those districts plan to make up for the missed time.
Allen ISD: Makeup days are built into the school calendar on April 3 and June 5.
Arlington ISD: Student makeup days are scheduled for June 4-5, but one of those days is already in use due to a prior bad weather day in October. The school district plans to seek a waiver for Tuesday's missed time.
Birdville ISD: Students will be attending classes on Friday, April 3. The second missed day is still not known.
Carroll ISD: Two bad weather makeup days are built into the school calendar for April 3 and May 22.
Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD: Makeup days are built into the school calendar for April 3 and May 22.
Cleburne ISD: Two bad weather makeup days are built into the school calendar for May 22 and June 5.
Coppell ISD: Students will now attend classes on Friday, April 3 and Friday, May 5.
Dallas ISD: Makeup days are scheduled for April 3 and June 5.
Fort Worth ISD: Makeup days are scheduled for April 3 and June 8.
Frisco ISD: Makeup days are scheduled for April 3 and May 22.
Garland ISD: The district has bad weather makeup days scheduled for April 27 and June 5.
Grapevine-Colleyville ISD: Makeup days are scheduled for April 3 and May 22.
H-E-B ISD: Two bad weather makeup days are built into the school calendar for April 17 and May 29. The district will seek a waiver for any additional days missed.
Keller ISD: Monday's missed day will be made up on Monday, April 6. Administrators are still discussing options for making up Tuesday's missed day.
Lewisville ISD: Makeup days are scheduled for May 22 and June 5.
Little Elm ISD: Makeup days are scheduled for May 22 and June 5.
Mesquite ISD: Makeup days are scheduled for April 3 and June 8.
McKinney ISD: Two bad weather makeup days are scheduled for April 3 and May 22. The district will address future missed days if that situation arises.
Northwest ISD: Students will now attend classes on April 3. The district will most likely seek a waiver for the second missed day.
Plano ISD: Makeup days are scheduled for April 6 and May 22.
Richardson ISD: Makeup days are scheduled for April 3 and June 5.
Terrell ISD: Makeup days are scheduled for April 3 and May 22.
