Decomposing Body Found Near Liquor Store By Homeless Camp

FORT WORTH, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - A decomposing body was found off the roadway, under a canopy of trees not far from a homeless camp in south Fort Worth.

South units responded to an investigation call in the area of 6600 South Fwy near Holiday Liquor.

Once there, they found the body of a homeless man. Investigators said he appeared to have been there some time.

Homicide was notified for the ongoing investigation.
