Dallas Zoo To Live Stream Giraffe Birth On Internet
Update: April 10, 6:05 PM - Katie, the giraffe, gave birth around 6 pm to her second calf at the Dallas Zoo. Nearly 50,000 people watched the event on a live stream provided by Animal Planet. Since the camera was set up, more than 1.3 million viewers tuned in. Katie's labor lasted about an hour.

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Zoo is getting attention from around the world for something that hasn't even happened yet.
Katie the giraffe is pregnant – and thanks to the internet, you'll get to watch her give birth live if you think you can handle it.
The Dallas Zoo is teaming up with Animal Planet to bring the pregnant giraffe cam live to the internet.
At times on Monday, more than one-thousand people were watching, even when Katie wasn't in her pen.
