DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A hip hop concert at The House of Blues led to a massive crowd gathering in downtown Dallas Sunday night.

The Dallas Police Department brought out crowd control support and shut down Lamar, Houston, and Victory streets after crowds responded to artist J. Cole's pop-up concert.

The performer offered a surprise $1 concert during his "Dollar And A Dream" tour at The House of Blues.

Police say that after the concert sold out, over 600 took to the streets, some taking part in physical altercations.

Officers were able to tamp down the crowds and re-open streets before 9 p.m Sunday. No word on if any arrests were made.
