DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Dallas police asked for the public's help Saturday in finding 78-year-old Jerry Wayne Cobb and updated that night saying Cobb had been found safe.

Police said Cobb was last seen around 2 p.m. Saturday leaving the 7100 block of Thurston Drive in a white, 1999 Honda Passport with Texas license plate CFG1426. He may have been headed to Waxahachie.

Police described Cobb as a white man, 6-feet tall and weighing 300 pounds, with light brown and gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark red plaid shirt, blue jeans and tan suspenders.
