Dallas Police Officer Turns Herself In

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A Dallas Police officer was arrested and charged with causing an accident involving damage to a vehicle back in September.
Police said Officer Holly Carter, 31, turned herself in to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office for the September 7 incident in Lancaster.
Her bond was set at $1,000.
Police said Carter is a three-year veteran of the department and is assigned to the Southwest Patrol Division.
Carter is on administrative leave pending an Internal Affairs investigation.
