Dallas Police Officer Arrested For DWI

HIGHLAND PARK (CBSDFW.COM) - A Dallas police officers was arrested in Highland Park Sunday morning for driving while intoxicated and evading on foot.

Officer Aaron Rodarte is now on administrative leave.

The Highland Park Department of Public Safety declined to elaborate on the circumstances of the arrest.

Dallas police said its internal affairs division would investigate the case against Rodarte, who is assigned to the South Central Patrol Division.
