Dallas Police Looking For Second Murder Suspect After One Turns Herself In

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A woman suspected of murdering a 61-year-old man on May 30 turned herself in Monday.  Another suspect is still at-large.

Dallas Police say Michelle Speed, 28, turned herself at Dallas Police headquarters where she was arrested for murder on a $250, 000 bond.

Detectives also say Byron Dennard Reed, 23, is responsible for the murder of David Haskell Sparks, 61.  A warrant was issued Monday for Reed's arrest.

Police say Sparks was shot and killed in his hotel room at 8312 S. Lancaster Road.

The Dallas Police department is asking that anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Byron Dennard Reed contact the Homicide Unit at (214) 671-3661 or Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-TIPS (8477).
