Dallas Museum Of Art Director Steps Down

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Museum of Art director Dr. Maxwell Anderson is stepping down.

He will join the "New Cities Foundation" as director of grant programs, in New York city.

Anderson spent nearly 40 years with the Dallas Museum of Art. He opened up the museum for free admission in 2012.

Since then, more than two million people have visited the museum. Located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas, the DMA ranks among the leading art institutions in the country and is distinguished by its innovative exhibitions and groundbreaking educational programs.
