Dallas County Sheriff's Deputy Investigated For Sex Assault

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A Dallas County Sheriff's Deputy has been placed on administrative duty while being investigated on allegations of sexual assault.

Julian Hernandez, who has been employed with DSCO since 2002, will remain on administrative duty until the investigation is complete. Hernandez has not been charged.

The Dallas Police Department is heading up the sexual assault investigation, while the Dallas County Sheriff's internal affairs department is conducting its own investigation.

There has been no word on when or where the alleged sexual assault took place.
