Dallas Burger Joint Puts Twist On ALS Challenge

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A Dallas restaurateur challenged over 40,0000 of his Facebook fans to an ALS Challenge with a twist Sunday.

Jason Bose, owner of the Twisted Root Burger Co. And Truck Yard, made the challenge on the Facebook pages of both restaurants Saturday.

Bose challenged fans to an ALS Dunk Tank Challenge switching it from the traditional ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is where celebrities and everyday citizens allow someone to pour ice water on their head to raise awareness and funds for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association. The challenge is filmed and put up on social media.

Bose asked that anyone who wants to accept his challenge can come to the Truck Yard on 5624 Sears Street in Dallas, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, and get dunked in a tank full of icy water.

For every person that accepts the challenge, Bose will be donating $10 to the ALS Association.
