Czech Republic Prime Minister Visits West, Texas

WEST, Tx (CBSDFW.COM) - Residents in West received some international help Thursday as they rebuild from last year's devastating fertilizer plant explosion.
Czech Republic, Prime Minister, Bohuslav Sobotka visited the small town for the groundbreaking of the Sokol West Gymnasium, which was destroyed in the blast. Czech cultures runs deep in the community.
"This is a community that has responded appropriately, strongly, powerfully and long-term," said Gov. Rick Perry.
Work is scheduled to begin on the gym in December.
