FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A series of Facebook posts landed a Crowley teen in big trouble.
Nicholas Paul Amrine was arrested on July 1 for allegedly making terroristic threats on Facebook against Convergence Church in Fort Worth.
In one post on June 2, the 19-year-old man allegedly called out 13 people by their initials. The post stated, "Working on my s--t list. I got 13 names. All I can say is I hope you GIP if these are your initials."
That post was followed by another one saying, "Pretty soon you're going to regret ignoring my messages."
A post made on the next day said, "All the kids that forgot about me are going to get what they deserve. I may have been hesitant in the past but next time u see me I will not hesitate about anything. It will be over in a flash, it will be over in a bang, u will see my face, and then nothing else ever again."
There was also a picture of Amrine holding a tactical rifle, along with a picture of Columbine shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, calling them heroes.
According to the arrest warrant, Amrine told one of the 13 identified people that he was going to carry out a mass shooting at 9:10 p.m. on July 22.
Amrine has since been released on a $10,000 bond. Afterward, he made an apology on Facebook. "That is not who I am and I would never do such a thing," the teen said on July 2. "The things I posted on Facebook were wrong and I should have never done that."
