Driver crashes into 7 cars near The Star in Frisco after suffering medical emergency, police say

Driver hospitalized after multi-car crash near The Star in Frisco

A vehicle crashed into multiple parked cars on Friday near The Star in Frisco, resulting in the driver being taken to the hospital, according to Frisco police.

Just before 5 p.m., Frisco police officers and Frisco firefighters responded to the crash at Avenue of the Champions and Cowboys Way.

Frisco PD said a driver crashed their vehicle into seven unoccupied cars along the street. The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the driver suffered a medical emergency leading to the crash. "There is nothing to suggest that the crash was intentional," Frisco PD said in a news release. The department is not filing charges against the driver.
