IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - The Cowboys completed the signing of their 2015 rookie draft class by agreeing to a deal on Thursday with first-round defensive back Byron Jones.

Jones, the No. 27 overall pick out of UConn, demonstrated freakish athletic ability in college and at the Scouting Combine. Since starting his career in Dallas, he's exhibited those same abilities while also using his intellect to pick up the playbook at both cornerback and safety.

Jones' four-year deal is worth $8.6 million, including $7 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $4.5 million, and comes in time for him to fully participate in next week's minicamp at Valley Ranch.
