IRVING (AP) - Dallas defensive end Jeremy Mincey is set for elbow surgery Thursday, and right tackle Doug Free will have a procedure on his left ankle next week.

The team reported on its website Wednesday that both players should be ready for offseason workouts, although Free is a free agent.

Mincey, who led the Cowboys with six sacks in the regular season, didn't miss any games. He had to pass a concussion test before the playoff loss to Green Bay last weekend. He has a year remaining on his contract.

Free missed the last four games, including the playoffs, after injuring his ankle against Philadelphia in December. He missed three games earlier in the season with a broken right foot.
