Cowboys Have Done Well With First NFL Draft Picks

In 1974, the Cowboys selected Ed 'Too Tall' Jones with the first pick in the NFL Draft. In 1991, the Cowboys traded for the first pick to select Russell Maryland. And in 1989, the team started the NFL Draft by selecting Troy Aikman.
