Cowboy Fan Names Son After Emmitt Smith; Honored By Retweet

(CBSDFW.COM) - A Dallas Cowboys fan named his son after a Cowboy legend and that former player took notice.
Emmitt Smith retweeted Jeff Pickerell Monday. This was the tweet:

Pickerell lives in Canada but says his dad has always been a Cowboys fan. Little Emmitt Pickerell was born last Thursday.
Pickerell says he sent the tweet out Monday when the family was back at the hospital with Emmitt for some tests.
When Pickerell saw Smith's retweet he said he started jumping up and down in the hospital.
He says he's looking forward to passing his father's love for the Cowboys down to a third generation.
