Country Singer Tanya Tucker Hospitalized, Cancels Shows

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Country music singer Tanya Tucker is postponing six concerts on her North American tour because if illness.

Tucker got sick and made the decision to cancel a show in South Dakota just a hour before it was set to begin. The singer reportedly has an upper respiratory infection.

Tucker, who is now being treated at a hospital in Nashville, she says she's looking forward to getting back on tour.

Tucker is known for such hits as "Delta Dawn," ''Soon" and "Strong Enough to Bend."

The 58-year-old singer has a concert scheduled at the Five Start Complex in The Colony on November 5. So far that show has not been postponed.
