BOYD (CBSDFW.COM) - The bear cub found roaming a Corinth neighborhood last week after a man said he rescued it from his ranch in Oklahoma the week before, has a new home.
The folks at the International Exotic Animal Sanctuary named the young, male black bear, Paddington.
Paddington joins 32 other bears that call the sanctuary home.
The sanctuary says Paddington is transitioning into his new home nicely and is already keen on climbing as much as possible. With the help of their Emotional Enrichment Program, they say they're confident that he will soon find comfort and security in his new home.
Paddington became something of a celebrity last week we he was discovered in Corinth after getting out of its cage where authorities say it had been illegally kept.
