DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM ) - Dozens of curious onlookers converged on the Continental Avenue Bridge and West Dallas Gateway in the Trinity River Corridor to see what it looks like with so much water flowing underneath it.

But more people hasn't translated into more business in the area unfortunately.

"Have you ever seen it this bad? No I haven't. This month is supposed to be a good month for us. We were expecting this rain last month," said Gustavo Castillo of Carmel Car Wash in Northeast Dallas.

The May downpours have dampened business operations for people like Castillo who depend on a little sunshine and dry conditions.
