Church Reopens Following Discovery Of Suspicious Items

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Cathedral of Hope in Dallas was evacuated early Sunday morning after suspicious items were found at the church.

According to police, one suitcase and two carry-on-like bags were found in the scaffolding at the entrance of the church.

According to police, the bomb squad was called in to examine the items.

During the ordeal, church services were held outside of the church.

The items ended up containing clothes according to officials.

The church was re-opened after the items were examined.
