Child On Bike Struck By Car In Rowlett

ROWLETT (CBSDFW.COM) - A 7-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after being stuck by a car while riding his bike.
It happened near the intersection of Liberty Grove Road and Kings Court Wednesday around 5:20 p.m.
No word yet on the child's condition but he was talking to paramedics on the scene and was expected to be okay.
Authorities tell CBS11 the driver of the vehicle did stop after hitting the child and called 911.
The child was not wearing a helmet.
