CELINA (CBSDFW.COM) – Celina police responded to Celina High School Monday morning after receiving an "active shooter" alert from a teacher's phone.

The alert was sent to the police at 11:35 am. Celina officers, along with troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety and officers from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Collin County Sheriff's Office, searched and cleared every room in the school, talking to teachers and students.

Celina ISD later identified the teacher who set off the alert and determined it was activated by accident.
