Hillary Clinton was heavily favored, and supported, by celebrities during her campaign. Those same celebrities that stumped for her expressed their shock and outrage to their millions of social media followers when Donald Trump was finally declared to be the next president of the United States.

Singer Katy Perry, who performed at the DNC in support of Hillary tweeted her disappointment in the results - and later that a 'Revolution' was coming.

Singer Lady Gaga, who had openly supported Clinton, staged a protest against Trump outside Trump Tower Tuesday night, clinging to a sanitation truck with a sign 'Love Trumps Hate' later tweeted:

Once famous child actor, and now party scene fixture, Lindsay Lohan expressed her anger at the results and demanded a recount.

Actor Chris Evans, who plays the role of Captain America in several comic-book films tweeted that America should be embarrassed for electing Trump.

70's pop fixture Cher brilliantly expressed her anger with the toilet and poop emoji.

Comedian Sarah Silverman towed the Clinton line by tweeting out the Trump/Russia/Putin connection.

Even Madonna, who had a surprise concert in a last-ditch effort to get out the vote for Clinton, tweeted a too-close picture of herself:
