CARROLLTON (CBSDFW.COM) — Carrollton police have arrested a 23-year-old for allegedly shooting and killing a local business owner, the department said Sunday.

Police said in a statement that Andrew Steven Gibson, of Fort Worth, is facing a capital murder charge in the shooting death of 37-year-old Alfred Armour early Saturday morning.

The statement said evidence shows Gibson "unexpectedly encountered" Armour while he was trying to burglarize Armour's business, Dynamic Reef Systems at 1411 Lemay Dr. Investigators then identified Gibson as the suspect and arrested him at his own business, at 1450 Halsey Way, Saturday night, according to the statement.

Police say Gibson is in Denton County Jail without bond.
