Car Driven Into Fort Worth Home

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM)- A Fort Worth Family woke up Sunday morning to a car inside their living room.

Emergency crews were called out to Poplar Ridge near Chisholm parkway after a car crashed into this home.

Police say a woman and two children were inside the vehicle.

No one in the house or car was hurt, but the homeowner, Maame Effirm was alarmed by the entire incident.

"I was asleep and I heard a loud crashing sound and I was really scared because I didn't know what it was because the whole house was vibrating," explains Effirm.

"It wasn't until I got downstairs and saw that there was a car in my living room."

Right now police aren't sure why the driver lost control of the car.
