Car Crashes Into Dallas Bridge Beam

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Dallas police and fire departments performed an extensive extrication of the driver of a car that crashed into a bridge beam Sunday morning.
Officials responded to the accident on Commerce Street at North Stemmons Freeway around 2 a.m. An adult female was conscious when responders arrived, but they needed to extricate the male driver.
Both were transported to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
Investigators are working to figure out how the car left the main roadway and crashed into the beam.
