LEWISVILLE (CBSDFW) - Two thieves decided to play Grinch to a Lewisville department store early Saturday, and made off with a chair full of loot.

According to Lewisville Police, some masked suspects broke into the Kohl's store on Valley Ridge Blvd around 3:00am on Saturday December 12th.

Once inside they targeted the jewelry counter, smashing display cases and grabbing and estimated $140,000 worth of high-end watches, gold and sterling silver necklaces.

Police say the suspects took off with the goods using a store wheelchair as a cart. The wheelchair was later located in the 1100 block of Courtney Ln where it is believed that the suspects had a vehicle waiting.

According to representatives of Kohl's, this is the 5th store in the Metroplex that has been burglarized with jewelry being the primary target.

If you have any information regarding this case, please contact Lewisville Police Detective B. Gibbins at 972.219.3633.
