Standoff Suspect In Custody In South Dallas County

UPDATE 3:45 P.M. - The suspect is in custody and the standoff is over.

HUTCHINS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas County Sheriff's SWAT team has surrounded a home on Willowgrove where a man is barricaded inside a home and believed to be armed.

The Sheriff's Office says U.S. Marshals were attempting to serve a warrant on Steven Ray Charles Davis out of Henderson County.

Davis did not respond to the warrant team's attempt to make contact with him according to a sheriff's department spokesperson.

His family was in the home at the time but they all came out.
