FORT WORTH (AP) - Authorities said that a man found dead this week inside of a truck at the bottom of a Fort Worth lake had been reported missing from Hurst.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office identified the man as 31-year-old Jose Anguiano-Perez on Wednesday. His cause of death is still pending.

Police in Hurst said that Anguiano-Perez was last seen at his apartment on December 30 by a co-worker, and was reported missing after he failed to show up to work.

Divers on Tuesday pulled his body from a pickup that was in Mosier Lake. Police said that it is too early to determine if foul play was involved or if it was an accident.

Emergency responders arrived after several teenagers noticed the truck in the water. The teens swam to check the vehicle and found the man's body inside.
