Body Found In Wooded Area Monday ID'd As Missing Fort Worth Woman Jocelyn Nuñez

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed Tuesday, Feb. 1 a body found in a wooded area in southwest Dallas on Monday, Jan. 31 was positively identified as Jocelyn Nunez, 31, of Fort Worth.

She was reported missing on Friday, Jan. 28.

She had left home to go for a hike in the Cedar Ridge Nature Preserve in Cedar Hill.

There is no word on how she died.

Law enforcement officials and Texas EquuSearch had been searching for her in that area when her body was found.
