DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- It's an industry that has always been dominated by men. But more women, than ever before, are purchasing guns.
Designers are cashing in on the huge opportunity.
According to a recent survey, the average female gun owner will spend about $800 over the next year on a gun -- and about $400 on accessories.
"It still is kind of a men's world, but now they are noticing that women have checkbooks," said Judy Rhodes, who runs a worldwide gun group for women.
Available to women: trendy headphones, safety glasses, and ear plugs. And for carrying your concealed weapon -- how about a stylish purse or bra holster?
Women can also customize their grips and triggers. There's also a magazine loader called an UpLULA.
"They help you load your magazine quicker without tearing your nails apart," said Marily Haley, "especially if you have a cute little manicure."
