If you love flowers and everything that blooms, then you will love the Dallas Blooms: The Artistry in Nature. You will get to enjoy sculptures featuring renowned sculptor Gary Lee Price's Great Contributors Bronze Statue exhibit that will be featured throughout the garden. As if the sculptures are not enough, you'll love 500,000 floral blooms and layers upon layers of spring bulbs. Just be sure to have your camera ready for tulips, daffodils, Dutch Iris and hyacinths, pansies, violas, poppies and thousands of other spring-blooming annuals and perennials.

There is nothing better to celebrate spring than a full weekend of jazz, crafts and music. That is exactly what you will find at the Denton Arts & Jazz Festival. Seven stages will be filled with musical artists while visitors wander in between visiting booths, doing crafts enjoying some delicious food and looking at some of the magnificent work of local artists. This year's featured performances are UNT One O'Clock Band and Patrice Rushen and Friends playing Friday, The Flatlanders on Saturday and Brave Combo playing on Sunday. Best of all, the event is free!

The USA Film Festival draws some pretty notable names to Dallas every year. This year, it's 46th year running, is no exception. Salma Hayek, Jackie Chan, Anna Kendrick and more will all be in attendance this year to see some of the best in film. You'll also be able to listen to filmmaker discussion about films and check out multi cultural programs that will be happening in between showings. This is one of Dallas' biggest entertainment events of the year, so be sure to stop by.

Visual artists converge on the Cottonwood Park in Richardson to display their work. There are more than 240 artists who display their pieces in 14 categories which include mixed media, 3D mixed media, ceramics, digital, drawings/pastels, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metalwork, painting, photography, sculpture and wood. Each artist's artwork is placed before the judges for a chance to be chosen for marketing materials. There will also be performances, food and activities for the entire family.
