Bank Robbery Leaves Suspicious Bag Behind

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A suspicious bag left behind by a bank robber caused a few tense hours at a Fort Worth bank.

The man entered the Comerica Bank at 1560 West Magnolia around 1:30 Friday afternoon. As he demanded money, he mentioned that he had a bomb in the backpack he was carrying.

He dropped the bag as he left the bank and Fort Worth Fire and Police were called out to the scene.

Around 4:30, three hours later, authorities detonated the bag and determined there was no bomb inside.

Fort Worth robbery detectives are investigating the case.

The robber has not been caught yet.
