Bailey Passes Bob Hayes On Cowboys All-Time Scoring List

ARLINGTON (105.3 THE FAN) -- Emmitt Smith, Rafael Septien, Tony Dorsett and...Dan Bailey?

The Cowboys kicker surpassed the legendary Bob Hayes on Monday, moving into sole possession of 4th place on the Cowboys all-time scoring list.

Bailey passed the Cowboys Ring Of Honor member with a 21-yard field goal in the third quarter, giving him 458 points in his fourth NFL season with Dallas.

A fourth quarter extra point pushed his career total to 459.

Earlier this season, Bailey set a franchise record by making 30 consecutive field goals dating back to last season. Since missing a 53-yard attempt in Week 5 against Houston, Bailey has made five in a row, including a 56-yard attempt outdoors in Seattle.

Bailey is the most accurate kicker in NFL history, having converted 104 of 114 attempts (91.2 percent). He has also made all 146 extra point attempts in his career.
